Batemans Bay Writers Retreat

I had a great time at Batemans Bay on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia at the end of September, 2020. Twelve avid writers went on a writing retreat there for five days.

Apart from writing in the mornings of each day, we went on a boat cruise up the Clyde River, played tennis, went on walks and just relaxed in the sunshine, eating out together each night at different restaurants in the town.

I met a great bunch of people and we shared out writing experiences and journeys with each other – the frustrations and the achievements.

I thoroughly recommend it for anyone who is thinking about going on one.
